This is the moment it kicked off in the Basque airport. You can see the flotilla activists made a line across the exit that blocked other passengers. The police tried to make a space for them to get through. The protester shoved the police and it started.

@JamesHeartfield It would not have been difficult for the cops to handle this sensitively. Attract their attention and ask them to move over a bit. These people have literally just come from a traumatising experience with uniformed bullies. Cops escalated tensions, then drew truncheons.

I have a bold idea. Rather than litigate the veracity of mutual mass rape claims in a 2000 year old religious war btwn authoritarian regimes maybe we should offer humanitarian aid where needed & focus on our own interests. You might call it a pivot to Asia or even “americans 1st”

The blocker for this is Microsoft Word. All the world’s contract is stored in Word. You can never get one-to-one fidelity in any of the “WYSIWYG” rendering engines that try to reverse engineer Word. Been thinking about how this can be overcome.
