Walk the Walk - That's why we now have the live performance metrics of our @Polkadot and @Kusama validators on our website for everyone to see.

Polkadot embraced a new inflation model on March 14, capping the supply to 2.1B DOT and reducing DOT emissions by ~53%. In the near future, the staking model gets additional structural upgrades, such as validators requiring 10,000 DOT as self-stake (which Amforc/1-4 already have!) and a reduced unbonding time of 1-2 days. To continue providing the highest level of service quality, we will update our commission to 15% in the next hours.

PSA: You can cut storage needs by ~40x for Polkadot by creating a snapshot from a fresh `--sync=fast` sync instead of `--sync=warp` (which is the preferred option for validators). Fresh sync (v1.21.1): Warp: 979 gb Fast: 24 gb

During the Nov 4 Polkadot AssetHub migration, validator operators are asked to run their validators with --db-cache=8000 to prevent slowdowns. This is due to the intensive storage operations required to ingest all data. Keep this flag enabled until further notice.
