@arindam___paul My car, with just 9,246 km on the odometer, has an engine issue. A cloth was previously left in the bonnet during service, raising quality concerns. After the latest service, engine noise began, yet I’m being asked to pay since the Ext. warranty expired in May 2025.

I usually don’t put tweets against brands, but Tata Motors, the quality of the cars and their service partners are pathetic 2 years back bought an automatic Tata Nexon. Over 2 years, there were issues 3 times where the car simply didn’t start. Apparently electronics issues. But since it was under warranty, ended up getting repaired in Minimal cost Today the car stopped working again. It has not even run 18000 kms in 2 years. And the service guys say it will take 60k to repair. Couldn’t give any detail on what happened/why it happened. And with arrogance saying karna h toh karao, else take it to your local mechanic. I don’t have any other option so mostly will have to pay and get it done But If you are thinking of buying a car, stay away from Tata Nexon and stay away from anything remotely related to @TataMotors @TataMotors_Cars . Absolutely poor products Also i really hope there are consumer centric automobile companies that emerge in India.

We all know Tata service can be inconsistent, but refusing to inspect the car or explain the issue is unacceptable. Asking customers to leave the vehicle without even a basic assessment—especially with only one mechanic available—is poor service.@TataMotors @TataMotors_Cars
