I ask a grocer in Ruaka where she gets the lovely pumpkins that she sells to me. It caught me off guard when she told me "Maya mothe nī ma Ūganda..." She told me confidently most pumpkins in Kenya come from Uganda. When did we get here? It seems we import all our food?

The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.

Lately Molped sanitary pads haven’t been the same. Quality ruined, weak adhesiveness, strange smell, and the absorption is only concentrated not evenly. I’m ranting because yesterday it literally came off, 3 different pads💀 thankfully I was at home. value pack is worse.

Burundians are all over Kenya. Leo nimebuy njugu Nanyuki town paid via MPESA gave me a unique name, asked if he is a Burundian or Congolese, akasema anatoka Burundi. I told him to feel at home and he gave me a nice smile. There are Ugandans selling clothes outside the Checkers bar at night as well. Jumuiya is only working in Kenya.

Buscar is now charging just Kshs 2,200 from Nairobi to Lamu. A direct bus from Duruma Road to Mokowe, no stopover in Mombasa. Just one smooth ride straight to the heart of Kenya’s hidden coastal charm. Honestly, with prices this friendly and a route this easy, what’s really stopping you from taking that trip you’ve been putting off? Lamu is waiting; the narrow streets, the ocean breeze, the peace you didn’t know you needed. Maybe it’s time.

@Kalasinga_ Brand new Isuzu D Max makes sense. Corporates buy lots of them. KCB for example gets lots of them.

Best selling brand new cars in Kenya in the year 2024. I remember telling someone here that the Isuzu Dmax outsells the Hilux. Prado, Fortuner & Forester sales are probably because of government. It's interesting to see Mahindra on the list.

For those pursuing a master's degree, consider focusing on poverty levels in Kilifi County as a thesis topic. Examine how devolution is failing to bring change, along with the complex issue of witchcraft impacting the area.

Ok good people, am sitting here wondering what Kenyans really want? You don’t want the President to borrow any more money (I get it and prefer he doesn’t too) but when we have willing investors for PPP’s then you are all up in arms? Then you also don’t want him to raise money internally - Finance Bill! But Yet you want big things done!! When he comes to Nakuru County we want the dualling of the Rironi - Mau Summit Road, we want the Itaare dam completed, we want the Lanet Airport completed, we want our poor road networks upgraded where is he supposed to get this money from? He wasn’t a magician the last I checked 🤷🏽‍♀️ Wouldn’t it make more sense for PPP’s to handle some of these very expensive but very necessary infrastructural projects? Airports like JFK ($9.5B Terminal 1 & $4.2B Terminal 6), Heathrow (£14B expansion), and Istanbul ($12B new airport) have thrived under Public-Private Partnerships. As we face limits on debt and as local resource collection mechanisms face challenges, it’s time to embrace sustainable development solutions such as PPPs for Kenya's infrastructure growth. Let’s maximize local resource mobilization and public private partnerships for a prosperous future. 🇰🇪 And oh yeah we have become extremely negative as a people. Very cynical and dare I say almost unpatriotic. #InvestInKenya #Infrastructure #believeinKenya
