Pakistan has done a good job of mediating on the current US-Iran standoff. This conflict however is never ending and will go on. International waters cannot be allowed to be controlled in any manner whatsoever by anyone nor can a fees be charged. Pakistan should focus elsewhere.

India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri just arrived in DC to meet with US officials and discuss trade/broader bilateral ties. The timing is a bit awkward, with Pakistan emerging as a key intermediary between Iran and the US -- an outcome India is likely to find uncomfortable.

After President Trump showed magnanimity and graciously accepted Pakistan's ceasefire proposal, Iran has also officially accepted this halt in hostilities. Let us hope and pray that this becomes permanent and also that oil prices nosedive! #Trump #Pakistan

The death of the leader of Iran is pure murder. This act was part of a totally unnecessary war forced upon his country Iran. Iran was not about to attack anyone so this war is even worse than President Bush's 2003 invasion of Iraq!

As former prime minister Imran Khan's health has deteriorated recently it is time for the government to set a good example and consider releasing him immediately on health grounds or to move him to his own house and declare it as a sub-jail. #Pakistan
