Any announcement of a dharna or protest march plunges the residents of #Islamabad into needless misery. Blocked roads, chaotic traffic, unruly crowds, and the constant fear of being stranded for hours have become all too familiar. If it’s not a dharna, groups occupy Faizabad and other key junctions to press their demands, holding an entire city hostage. This cannot become the norm in a capital city. It must stop.

@gaurav02092031 I have a feeling it is following the path of the student movement of the neighbouring Bangladesh. There are a lot of similarities.

@koolkopper It is fine if there is a public movement on serious issues but its politicization will prove to be another misfortune for the society.
