Any announcement of a dharna or protest march plunges the residents of #Islamabad into needless misery. Blocked roads, chaotic traffic, unruly crowds, and the constant fear of being stranded for hours have become all too familiar. If it’s not a dharna, groups occupy Faizabad and other key junctions to press their demands, holding an entire city hostage. This cannot become the norm in a capital city. It must stop.

A united front from the political leadership of KP is not in sight. I strongly believe leaders like Maulana, Asfandyar Wali, Sirajul Haq, Pervez Khattak, Aftab Sherpao, and PTI’s tier-one workers should come forward and play a positive role for the betterment of our province and country.

The killing fields of KP and Balochistan, from Manjhi Khel Tank to Ziarat continue to be drenched in blood for a cause whose end remains elusive. Despite repeated vows, strong statements, and countless promises coupled with action, the violence persists. For the people of these regions, each new day brings fresh reports of killings, leaving them trapped in a relentless cycle of fear, grief, and uncertainty. They deserve lasting peace, not perpetual bloodshed.

@drkamal256 Sadly, Kurram is a bleeding wound that no one at the helm of affairs remembers.

Just as the smallest coffins are the heaviest, autopsy of tiniest bodies leave me most drained. She had ventured outside with some money for snacks & found dumped across a mix-stretch of sea and land some 22 hours later. Findings consistent with horrific violence that no soul..

@Sachida72117650 Modi is flying high. He is at the moment resisting the pressure but in the final run he will yield to their demands.

@koolkopper Badly handled . Pradhan should have just resigned and could have avoided this protest and had name for the country . Nevertheless democracy is alive and just hope that an anti India party does not take over .

The Cockroach Janata Party of India began as a satirical response to a derogatory remark in May 2026, when the Chief Justice of India reportedly referred to unemployed youth as “cockroaches” during a court hearing. It has rapidly evolved into a symbol of youth frustration in India. Driven by concerns over unemployment, exam paper leaks, and demands for greater accountability, it reflects how a single incident can ignite a broader movement for change. Whether it remains a protest movement or evolves into a political force remains to be seen.

@gaurav02092031 I have a feeling it is following the path of the student movement of the neighbouring Bangladesh. There are a lot of similarities.
English

@koolkopper It is fine if there is a public movement on serious issues but its politicization will prove to be another misfortune for the society.
