@_KarishmaK Ma'am, I respectfully disagree. This reflects a personality trait—primarily ego—that develops over time through age and experience. And the entire system is composed of individuals shaped by this very dynamic.

Conversation with a colleague: Scientists who are 'toxic', bullying, and cynical are not only creating victims of the system, but are also victims of the system themselves. Very hard to see it when you are the target, but the truth is no one wants to be or aims to be an unhappy, disillusioned, or effete scientist. They become that. 🙏
