BEUC and members filed an EU-wide complaint against water bottle producers for greenwashing. 97% of bottled water consumed in 🇪🇺 is in plastic. We found that the industry's claims about the recyclability of these bottles are insufficiently substantiated. buff.ly/47jXr1N

Coca-Coca has agreed to improve its labels 1,5 year after we denounced with our members greenwashing by plastic bottle producers. We call on authorities to keep their efforts with Coca-Cola & others.
