Sorry for the near radio silence this past month. Afew weeks ago, my mother (who as some of you know is 91 with dementia, still living in her own home 100 miles from me) fell and broke her hip. It’s been a bit torrid with Christmas etc, but things have stabilised now.

I’ve just received a festive greetings message from the Tyne Tunnel. I’m delighted as it’s my favourite tunnel. Hoping to get one from Saltburn Pier too.

@dave_mcpartlin That’s what I love about working in out of school care. Our children have a really wide range of play opportunities indoors and out. I’m very aware of how lucky they are in relation to what you say in your post

So many will grow up missing out on simple joys of baking cakes, playing cards or building dens - moments that brought us together- because they’re drawn to screens instead. Was a time when dopamine came from sweetness of life’s innocent pleasures. Really hope we go full circle.

I have just got out of the car on the sherrifhall roundabout there was a Dog on the bypass no collar or lead, black Schnauzer type dog managed to stop the the traffic enough get out and pick him up he was very scared and unsure but eventually let me take him. Please share this.
