@jeffzrebiec I like this a lot. One of the other guys might even start the season giving Pocic more time to recover fully.

@d3structo_ @skohayes @PeterHamby The vast majority of establishment Democrats would pass those policies you just mentioned if they had the votes. They just believe is passing as much as they have the actual votes for in bodies that are FAR less liberal than a major city. Why is that not reasonable?

Progressives run on policies that will disproportionately serve poorer communities, especially blacks and Latinos. Medicare for all, expanded social safety net, workers rights…etc. Look at mayor Mamdani as an example. He froze rents in NYC, provided universal childcare, and is working on free buses for low income residents. Establishment candidates are those that exist within the party’s power structure ie; Jeffries, Schumer, DNC. Progressives generally campaign against those that are incumbents or are aligned with the current power structure eg; Mamdani vs Cuomo and the party establishment. Establishment generally protect the status quo while progressive try and fight for the working class's material conditions.

Viva Espana Viva Espana Viva Espana!!! Can't believe they controlled that game so thoroughly and shut France out. Just amazing skill and team play. Go read my book and learn about where it came from! routledge.com/Regeneration-t…

@notlarrysabato I don't think Berne or Warren hate the party. I do think a sizeable chunk of their supporters do and that makes things very difficult.

Progressives like Bernie and Warren don’t hate the party. They are trying to improve it. Plenty of establishment AND progressive candidates have turned out to be fuckups that should have been vetted more. Not everything is an ideological fight. Leave that to the GOP.

@DrDKilpatrick I don't even blame that on VAR, there is a person behind the screen who made a terrible decision. Blame them.

@FootballFunnnys Where’s the sensor for the touch IMMEDIATELY after when the Portugal player touched it then? Lmao. Hmm 🤔 not there. Bc the bump in the graph WAS the Portugal player touching it not the Croatia player. The ball never changed speed or direction. Croatia got robbed.

BREAKING: There is a censor in the World Cup football that detected a touch when the Croatian player attempted the header. vAR was able to use this information to give the offside. Debate over.

@FootballFunnnys There are better angles of the cross than this…I wonder how the sensor works? Is it able to differentiate between the air pressure exerted on the ball as well as environmental factors while compensating for spin of the ball and then give a guaranteed result? I’m curious.

I wouldn’t pretend to be an expert but England aside, my two favourite teams at the World Cup so far have been Ecuador and Japan.

@LydiaMoynihan You know that is many fields 6-7 years is standard for a PhD right? Or do you just know nothing about academia, a career path that has been increasingly destroyed by the cuts too higher education over the last 30+ years.
