En Estados Unidos existe un movimiento que propone que las mujeres renuncien a su derecho al voto y que, en su lugar, se emita un único voto por familia, decidido por el esposo. Entre sus argumentos sostienen que el matrimonio convierte al hombre y a la mujer en “una sola carne”, por lo que el esposo puede representar políticamente a su esposa. También apelan a la idea de que el hombre es la cabeza del hogar y de la mujer. Lo más sorprendente es que muchas mujeres apoyan este movimiento. 😑😑 Al final, El cuento de la criada parece cada vez menos un cuento y más una advertencia.
