@JG232_ Put him in the VFL and only play him if Prestia or Taranto are out. Then pay a club to take him at the end of the year. I’ve been a Hopper defender in the past but I really struggle to see a way back for him now.

Jacob Hopper turned 29 last month, He’s not exactly old or past his prime. So why has he been so so deplorable this season? I’m not sure he’d be getting a game at any other club including West Coast?

Last year we had promising second halves against good sides, this year maybe the firsts have been better, and that is some progress. Missing veteran leaders away from home a very tough ask. Should have been 14 points halfway through the third... #AFLFreoTigers

So, if the reports are accurate, the AFL big-wigs have decided on a twilight Grand Final this year... Why? Surveys have consistently shown a large majority of fans want to keep the day-time final. Is there any other sport that ignores what fans want as often as the AFL?
