@ameytirodkar Agree with point 5. It is due to fact that the grand old party was always in power since independence for most of time & hence do not know, HOW to behave & act as effective opposition. Last point- By & Large, weren’t we single party electoral till 1989? Why selective about BJP?

- D. Constant ground mobilisation with real issues that people are suffering Post Bengal 2026 elections, Indian politics has entered into a new era. BJP supporters would call it a triumph. Any sane observer would call it a decisive step towards one party electoral autocracy.

My Five Points Analysis about the electoral outcome and the future of Indian politics. 1. Sizable portion of Indian society is radicalised but not all. And that is the real resistance to this regime. 2. Henceforth, BJP can't win ANY election without manipulations.

@sheela2010 @BJP4India Logically true, politically true for some, false (subjectively) for some. No one wants to give their political space to anyone, irrespective of gender across party lines. This is mutual understanding to defer the ‘ultimate’ till they get breather to allow ‘Naari’ to breathe!

Lucky to be a journalist. A long career in media has taught me that in politics don’t believe anyone, anything at any time. 1- Why should we believe that @BJP4India was desperate to pass the bills? Politicians can shape the event in a certain manner just to register the point. They may not want to take the event to its logical conclusion, as we may think. 2- Why should we think that @kcvenugopalmp was serious in his offer? He may be,he may not be. Also, when @AmitShah accepted his offer of 50% uniform increase in seats what makes us think that he was not knowing that Venugopal can’t make such decisions all alone in his party? 3- Why should we believe the leaders of opposition when they said that they will support the bill that enables right away implementation of 33 pc reservation for women in current parliament of 543 seats? Why don’t we think that they were damn sure that it’s not legally possible right now (without census and delimitation) and they believed that even @BJP4India will never do it so let’s send across offer that sounds sincere? 4- Why should we believe at all that the MPs, who voted in favour or against the bill, were having conviction in their respective stand? Of course, not. All had to follow their party line. We all understand why so much resistance in some MPs. Why are we not noting that many BJP MPs would have been upset if the NDA had won? Who wants a massive change in combination of castes and community to face in his/ her constituency? Who wants redrawing of talukas and districts which have been pampered at cost of millions of rupees? So many talukas will get a new PIN codes , many will be divided and so many new socio-political clusters would be formed. And, who wants a change that’s arriving without guarantee of winning! 5- Why should we believe some Southern politicians who are recklessly raising non existing issue of division within India? Are they serious? Do they want their own country’s Uttar Pradesh to not have fair representation with 240 million population? @narendramodi is attempting to be on the right side of the new emerging power block. #Mahila votes! Let others not miss the train.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj fought for hindawi swaraj, not some modern version of secularism. ​VFX cannot replace the तेज (aura) required to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Riteish Deshmukh lacks the vibe; it feels like a filtered performance. He lacks the raw intensity and physique which the role demands. If you want to see Maharaj brought to life with dignity and power, look at actor Sharad Kelkar, he captured the soul of the King. I will pass this.

-I can tell you this that by sinking IRIS Dena off the Sri Lanka coast, the #US did a favor to #India -Don't get upset I'll tell you why -If the US had sunk #Iran's warship off the #Indian coast, let's say within territorial waters (12 NM), it would have been very embarrassing for India -India would have been cornered -If we don't condemn the act then we would have looked weak -Opposition & activists, without national interest in mind would have been up in arms -And India would have been forced to use the harsh words & spoil the relationship with the US, which is just about on a recovery path -So, I don't know if it was a deliberate act by the US or we were lucky enough to be saved from a gravely embarrassing situation
