When a temporary arrangement called deputation - for the exigency of unavailability of eligible officers within the cadre for a long duration- is sought to be made permanent through a parliament bill, despite there being no shortage of senior eligible officers within the CPMFs, and, in contravention of apex court orders on the matter, such prolonged opposition is inevitable until good senses prevail, the bill is recalled and OGAS status implemented in the CPMFs.
Today’s protest was in memory of historical military prowess exhibited by two coys of 2nd Bn of CRPF thwarting a Brigade attack by Pakistani Army in the Runn of Kutch in the wee hours of 9 April 1965, killing about 36 enemy soldiers and capturing 4, though yielding 6 casualties of own troops.
The day is observed as Valour Day of the CRPF.

Let the state not loot #tribal population of their land & resources in the name of industrialisation for the rest. Honest way of doing the same would be to rehabilitate them with similar land parcel elsewhere & pay the difference, honourably. They are citizens of the country, too!

The expansion of these Forces in role, size & structure, wasn’t accompanied by commensurate improvements in infrastructure, manpower planning and well charted career progression for the officers & men during last 87 (CRPF) yrs, primarily due to lack of continuity of top command leading to lack of understanding of the expanding organizational needs of these Forces. The time has arrived to address these issues radically without giving-in to the allurements of institutionalizing temporary command of these Forces indefinitely.
They urgently need improved service conditions & pension entitlement as per apex court orders, pan India Ex CPMF Welfare boards, separated family accommodation for children’s education for personnel from far flung regions and Paramilitary Flag day in recognition of their outstanding services to the Nation.

Separated family accommodation is a crying need of the CPMFs.

SHOCKER: a BSF jawan’s house targeted by a suspected rocket attack in Manipur. His 2 little children who were sleeping have been killed (the pictures are gruesome), his wife seriously injured. Incident happened in Moirang along the sensitive hill-valley boundary. Kuki armed group suspected to be behind attack. TERRIBLE. TRAGIC. Prayers for the family of the victims. 🙏🙏

👉थानाध्यक्ष पर दुर्व्यवहार का आरोप, CRPF जवान को लाकअप में बंद कर किया दुर्व्यवहार, एसपी से की शिकायत।
✍️ #देवरिया। जनपद से पुलिस के व्यवहार पर गंभीर सवाल सामने आया है। केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (CRPF) में तैनात एक जवान ने थाना भलुअनी के थानाध्यक्ष पर दुर्व्यवहार, गाली-गलौज और मारपीट के साथ लाकअप में बंद करने का आरोप लगाते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक देवरिया से जांच की मांग की है।
♦शिकायतकर्ता नागेन्द्र कुमार यादव, जो सीआरपीएफ में कॉन्स्टेबल (GD) के पद पर कार्यरत हैं, ने देवरिया पुलिस अधीक्षक को दिए प्रार्थना पत्र में बताया कि उन्होंने 3 अप्रैल 2026 को अपनी एक समस्या को लेकर थाना भलुअनी में शिकायती प्रार्थना पत्र दिया था। बताया गया कि 4 अप्रैल को संबंधित मामले की जांच क्षेत्रीय उपनिरीक्षक द्वारा की गई, लेकिन उस समय शिकायतकर्ता घर पर मौजूद नहीं थे।
🔷शिकायत के अनुसार, 5 अप्रैल 2026 को सुबह लगभग 11:30 बजे शिकायतकर्ता थाना भलुअनी पहुंचे और अपनी शिकायत की स्थिति जानने के लिए थानाध्यक्ष प्रदीप कुमार पाण्डेय से बातचीत की। इसी दौरान थानाध्यक्ष पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने: गाली-गलौज की धक्का देकर लॉकअप में बंद कर दिया लगभग 30 मिनट बाद बाहर निकाला। औऱ जहां शिकायत करना है कर लो” जैसी टिप्पणी की। शिकायतकर्ता ने यह भी आरोप लगाया है कि घटना के दौरान उपनिरीक्षक अवधेश सिंह यादव व अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों द्वारा उनका मोबाइल फोन जबरन छीन लिया गया।
🎖️नागेन्द्र कुमार यादव ने अपने प्रार्थना पत्र में उल्लेख किया है कि वह वर्ष 2007 से सीआरपीएफ में कार्यरत हैं और उन्हें भारत सरकार द्वारा पांच बार सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। आरोप है कि थानाध्यक्ष द्वारा उनके पदक और सेवा पर भी आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी की गई। शिकायतकर्ता का कहना है कि घटना की पुष्टि थाना परिसर में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों से की जा सकती है। उन्होंने निष्पक्ष अधिकारी से जांच कराने की मांग कराते हुए दोषी पाए जाने पर संबंधित पुलिसकर्मियों पर कार्रवाई कि गुहार लगाई है।

Bus mows down 19 yr old in Azadpur because #Municipal bodies & #PWD are comfortable with:
1. Pedestrian sidewalks permanently encroached by signboards, electric poles, untrimmed roadside trees;
2. Unavailability of Zebra crossing where road crossings are required, those marked interrupted by median dividers and being used as traffic stop lines;
3. Not enough or adequately placed Foot Over Bridges, compelling the pedestrian to venture road crossings where they have to;
To add to the problem, there’s no culture of #lane-driving cultivated, categorised either by type of vehicle or marked speed brackets on overhead signboards.
