Who's doing the high taxes? Communists in local council and govt. To fund their environmental projects and get kickbacks for themselves. Who's doing the paralysis of construction of new houses? Communists in local city govt ensuring no new permits go out and life is hell for construction companies so they can't build new buildings fast. So there's more legal immigrants and people buying houses now, and demand keeps increasing, but housing supply cannot catch up. Their feelings are a communist deception. They can all afford housing. They can all afford daycare and nannies and everything. They just hate paying for bills that don't go for their lavish vacation trips. They also hate that for the price they do pay, they don't get a great house or apartment for it, or a great window view.
