Central Uganda (Buganda Kingdom) is the highest contributor to Uganda's economy with around 70% of the country's GDP. Kampala alone contributes 23%, while the whole of Western Region; (Ankole, Toro, Bunyoro, Rwenzori) contributes only 16% to the country's GDP. Insane Margin.
