For years we've argued what the country now sees plainly: the mass unlawful movement across our borders is an invasion. It’s an unwanted intrusion into a sovereign nation's domain. Birthright citizenship was NEVER meant to be a reward for invading us.

• Restore the real talking filibuster (make them stand and speak) or abolish it entirely. No more silent vetoes.

This is the result of years of bureaucratic policymaking that embedded incentives for illegal immigration throughout the federal government. It’s a national security crisis. A budget crisis. And American taxpayers are footing the bill.

The SAVE Act is common-sense legislation backed by the majority of Americans. It shouldn't be held hostage by an internal Senate rule.
The filibuster isn't in the Constitution. It's a Senate procedure that can be changed at any time. The Left never hesitates to rewrite the rules when it advances their agenda. Meanwhile, the Republican majority Senate is treating the filibuster as untouchable even when it stands in the way of priorities the American people overwhelmingly support.
