If we are to better educate our kids, we need first to better educate their educators. I am not sure our system provides thoughtful, relevant, or effective PD to evolve the education system. #Edchat

@tomwhitby I am asking. The breaking down of established systems certainly takes creativity, diligence and support of leadership. More than anything though… you have to go to them and ask (don’t send a survey) AND you had better follow through to build trust.

The one thing most teachers agree on nationwide is their dissatisfaction with district provided professional development. If I were an education leader, I would be asking why that is? #Edchat
