Education Minister @paulgivan visited @NettlefieldPs to officially open their new Nurture Unit this morning. The Minister met the Principal Simon McLean, Board of Governors, Nurture teacher Heather Clifford and political representatives. The Minister also toured the school, meeting pupils and staff. There was a discussion about school accommodation.

Children and families don’t suffer because of the wait for services. They suffer when systems refuse to make accommodations from the outset and hide behind criteria which are designed to limit access to support. #FlipTheNarrative
