@loveholidays I have never experienced such awful customer service. Take our money, don’t confirm our booking and then refuse to do anything until 3 days time! How is this even allowed? We cannot wait 3 days as we should be preparing to leave!!

Backlog in magistrates’ is at a record high (Vera Baird stats are wrong - it’s at a series peak of 379,437.) and rose by 17%. Much higher increase than the Crown Court. Bar logically urges that we this is considered before seeking to add complexity and also increase to magistrates cases by 10-15% Plus see @TransformJust1 latest Court Watch report on summary justice. transformjustice.org.uk/publication/du…

@VeraBaird Do you think families of the bereaved in death by careless driving cases should watch a summary trial of what happened if the likely sentence is 2 years? Do you think complainants in sexual assault cases (2A 2B 3A & 3B on guideline) should have their allegation heard summarily?

Today, a 5 year old child in Lebanon will have known 2 wars and possibly been forced to flee their home twice. “Long after the bombs stop, the children of Lebanon will still be reeling from the psychological impact of the multiple conflicts that they’ve experienced.” link.nbcnews.com/view/69a0d037f…

In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda. It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims.

Come on @ClarksonsFarm1 take it down. I’m all for freedom of speech but not inciting or glorifying violence. And two of my colleagues have been murdered in my time as an MP.

@DeborahMeaden They are so out of tune with how the public view this war- it’s almost as if they never cared what the public thought and want to pursue their far right agenda regardless!

"It breaks my heart": UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher says "we're seeing staggering amounts of money, reportedly a billion dollars a day” being spent on the Middle East war, rather than addressing the world’s “huge humanitarian caseload.”

Just had to turn off @itvpeston it feels like TV journalists are living in a parallel universe to the public. Utterly depressing- the intro to tonight’s show -does RP seriously think we shouldve joined this war2keep Trump happy? KS damned if he does and if he doesn’t

@PippaCrerar I don’t think it is a significant blow- sitting Govs struggle in by- election & given the issues of late it could have been worse. It is a wake up call for labour for sure- but this constant will be/wont be leader/PM is just so tedious. Let’s wait for the next GE

@NatalieFleetMP There are no words-how anyone can think let alone post like that in 2026 it’s abhorrent. Wrong on too many levels to write in a tweet.
