@MarkHertling So what you're saying is that drawdowns from Germany have occurred before, and that they weren't handled well. Has any action taken by @SecWar NOT been handled well? I understand your concern, but this isn't the military we served in. It's being run like a military now.

Two things: -This is one of the most short sided decisions imaginable. And I’d like to see the “thorough review,” as there likely isn’t one. -I know a little about this stuff, having been part of the last drawdown in Europe. A 6-12 month action will disrupt the force during war, further alienate our allies because of no coordination, and jerk around soldiers and their families. A very, very bad decision and knee jerk reaction that will further hurt our nation and our military.

There is a war on beauty. Homebuilders are stripping neighborhoods of trees to save money. National parks are being given over to developers & loggers. Of the billion people who use ChatGPT monthly, many have never read a poem. The cult of efficiency is killing the human spirit.
