I still think the school is evaluating Injective based on what it is now, rather than what it could become as a success in the next few years.
If the scenario of the financial platform gradually transitioning to blockchain truly unfolds, then platforms acting as the infrastructure layer will have the most opportunities. And that's why I've been spending more time monitoring $INJ lately.
What catches my attention isn't the green candles or short term price surges.
What I find more interesting is how Injective is quietly building its position in a very large piece of the cryptocurrency puzzle: the major on chain financial markets.
While many Layer 1 projects still focus on narrative or short term user acquisition campaigns, Injective is going in a different direction. They want to transform the blockchain into a place where all major financial assets can be traded continuously without being limited by opening hours or national borders.
From perpetual futures contracts to tokenized stocks, excluding rewards for physical assets (RWA), everything is within the project's vision.
Recent days have also shown quite a few signs that this ecosystem is accelerating.
The CFTC just approved the first perpetual consensus token listed on a registered exchange in the US.
Injective has also consistently emphasized its role in the decentralized perpetual futures sector, where it has processed over $70 billion in on chain transaction volume since its early days.
On the other hand, the Injective Summit in Washington D.C., along with input from US lawmakers, shows that the project is not staying out of discussions about the industry's future.
Even Binance.US has added staking functionality for $INJ, bringing the token closer to users in the US market.
Looking at each event individually, it may not have a huge impact.
But when she put it all together, she found a clearer trend: crypto is gradually shifting from its initial role within the main financial transmission system to integration into that system.
Perhaps that's why I've recently started paying more attention to Injective.
The price of $INJ may rise or fall in the short term; the correction will be decided.

Platforms monetize the data while users own nothing. @Conso_xyz is building a unified reputation layer that aggregates verified activity into a portable Consumer Passport.
