Although they were born in Malaysia to a Malaysian father, no reason was given for the rejection. They applied in 2009, 2012 & 2014. The 3rd application was rejected after 7 years. No reason given. malaysiakini.com/news/700829

@fahmi_fadzil voted for you in the last two elections. You're my MP. I urge you to send the bill to PSC to strengthen it. Protect the Orang Asli/ Asal PR status and push back on the amendment for the mothers x being retroactive. Too many ppl are falling through the cracks.

Strategically, our recommendations are not to throw the baby out with bathwater - send it to PSC and strengthen the bill to ensure protection of Orang Asli/Asal with PR status & their children. On a separate note, how did we end up here? No one asked for the bad ones?

1) This is serious... but my genuine concern is that if PH MPs are pressured to reject the current amendments, KDN will push back and slow process all existing citizenship applications in spite of the best efforts of @saifnasution.
