The hypocrisy of some people is nauseating... In 2013, Malala (using the Butere Girls) had a play titled "Shackles of Doom". The play was banned because it was seen for what it was...shameless use children to settle political scores... Uhuru was the President! You celebrated the banning of the play. Today, the you are suddenly the defenders of creativity... Having used kids to vandalize Supreme, burn Parliament and loot Nairobi dry in June 2024, you need w feel emboldened to recruit teenagers into your madness! You know kids attract sympathy and so you want to set them against the state... Anyway... Question... You do not need to over borrow or over tax to support our 2025/2026 budget .Cut the unnecessary allowances to all elected leaders, PS, DGs,and all public officers .Cut OP and statehouse budget to stop the president expensive trips within and outside the country. The president sent MM or Raila to represent and announce in local radios the opening of various government projects. Adjust treasury bonds rates upwards and pay pending bills for local tenderpreneurs to encourage domestic borrowing and reduce external borrowing while ensuring money circulation to spur economic activities. Close the airport to the Dubai based money launderers ,seize properties which are proceeds of crime, and bring back money stashed overseas. Formulate a draft anti corruption policy to the national government and county government to reduce excessive corruption. Central banks to develop fiscal policies and monetary measures that will stabilise our currency against the dollar and other world major currencies. Our economy is driven by almost 40% public employment ,instead, attract FDI through tax incentives ,provision of affordable energy to enhance local production (ppp in energy sector) to create employment outside civil service. Cushion the ever growing diaspora remittance against high taxation and create diaspora infrastructure bond to streamline flow of diaspora funds .Maintain a serene political environment and make Kenya the centre of global attraction to tap into the global flow of income.We can achieve a Kenyan Renaissance if we focus. But the Ruto government can hear none of the above!
