Satish Mahana who is the Speaker of UP Legislative Assembly and also an MLA from Kanpur has asked officials to prepare a proposal to connect Kanpur with Ganga Expressway.
This should have been built already but @Satishmahanaup waited for the inauguration to do the Proposal Baji.

Even the metro is also 50% funded by the Central govt. Tell me one State owned project functioning on the ground. Footwear Park kha hai, dikhai nhi deta.

They can take a curve through Kannauj but not through Kanpur(same case as Agra-lucknow Expressway). Ohh sorry I think geography is the real problem as Kanpur is on Mars..

HSR can’t go through Kanpur, skipping Lucknow. Can’t connect both, coz of geography. Cry less. Understand more.

I think they are constructing the Varanasi Kolkata expressway on Mars and Delhi Varanasi HSR(that will bypass Kanpur) on Venus. Even Kanpur is the most advanced city of civilization with all basic amenities as well as all advanced techs. Don't know why this RR?

विडम्बना - उत्तर प्रदेश का सबसे बड़ा शहर जनसंख्या के अनुसार (२०११). नक्शे में ३ एक्सप्रेस वे इधर उधर से दिख जाएंगे लेकिन मजाल है कि एक कानपुर तक पहुंच जाए। दशकों से गंगा जी पार करने के २ ही पुल दिखते हैं मजाल है कि तीसरा दिख जाए। लिंक एक्सप्रेस वे ही बना दे तो क्या बुराई है।

This is the best time for Kanpur politicians to ask @nitin_gadkari and @narendramodi to do 6-laning from Ramadevi to the expressway starting point
