@volkswagenindia 6 months cut from service value pack. We have a Virtus 1.0 AT, purchased Nov ‘24. Dealer informed us that they received the car in Apr ‘24, and gave us a discount since it is old. Did not tell us that the service pack start date was given as Apr ‘24. 1/2

@volklub @volkswagenindia Lesson: while purchasing, demand a certificate of warranty. Factor this information into your negotiation. It’s disappointing that we weren’t given clear info about this, but we’ve accepted this now. Maybe car needs to be in warranty even while with the dealership. 5/n

Now in Apr ‘25, the car is due for “1 year servicing”, even though we have had it for only 6 months. Effectively 6 months are gone from our purchased SVP. Please clarify. Dealership is VW North. 2/2

But what we didn’t know is that the start date of servicing is considered as Apr ‘24 and not Nov ‘24. We even purchased the service value pack. The dealer did not inform us about this. Effectively, 6 months have been removed from the service pack coverage. 2/3

@iAWriter Been hearing a ton of hype and finally decided to download! Confused though — what's the price for the Mac app? In the Indian Mac App Store, it says Rs 2,299 (~$34), but some reviews say $9.99 (~Rs 673). The former is quite out of budget for me. Help?
