Why am I on 𝕏?
A question that's haunted me for 9 months.
And now? I finally know the answer.
I'm on 𝕏 to help people escape functional depression.
But what is functional depression?
F.D. is a mix of 3 things:
1. Being able to perform daily tasks while hiding a big void inside.
2. Feeling stuck in an unfulfilling life but not doing anything about it.
3. Life is just okay enough to keep you stuck in a semi-comfortable lifestyle.
Trust me, I’ve been there.
I’ve had my fair share of time dealing with functional depression.
I spent 3 years aimlessly wandering through life without feeling like I was truly living.
I was able to:
→ Study and have good grades
→ Have a social life
→ Make a decent amount of money
But…
→ I was completely disconnected from everything.
→ I was playing the game of life on autopilot.
→ I felt like no one was seeing me suffer because I was fully functional
What did I do to escape functional depression?
I did 5 things:
1. I stopped lying to myself and unmasked the pain
2. I wrote down a blueprint to reach fulfillment
3. I rewired my mind
4. I figured out ways to increase and reboot my resilience
5. I found ways to maintain my progress and build on it
It wasn’t easy.
But I escaped.
I promise that it’s possible.
I promise to dedicate myself on 𝕏 and use my academic and personal knowledge to help fellow humans escape functional depression.
I’ve spent the last year building a program dedicated to this.
It’s built around the 5 steps that helped me get out of functional depression and 4 years of experience as a mental health professional.
