@foxy_baking It’s called forest! I remember buying it for like $2.00 back in the day and it was pretty chill. It’s still useable without a subscription. I think it’s base price $4.00 now unfortunately

@monsterultrabpd I agree. Unfortunately there is not enough of that for any mental health condition. Mental health care needs a heavy overhaul

@anatime321 i feel like it has to be paired with close therapy and/or there should be a thorough assessment that forced recovery is safe and affective for that person.

I have many mixed opinions on forced recovery as someone whose life was saved because of forced recovery. I also had a loved one who died of their anorexia who was in forced recovery a lot. It gave them more years and we both knew it was both awful but for the best.

@foxy_baking Yeah, when it was my parents decision I can understand why they chose for me to stay in recovery when I didn’t particularly want to. Forced recovery is nuanced and is more than just good and bad. I think that needs to be remembered. Shades of grey exist.

I also have mixed feelings on forced recovery for the similar reasons, as an Ana who went through it, it made me way worse than I ever was before… However tha being said I wasn’t ready and was doing it for the wrong reasons. as a mama I can see how it would save the life of my child, how I would absolutely fight tooth and nail to get my child into recovery. No matter what because I know what thi disease does. It doesn’t allow you to think clearly. You won’t eat when hungry enough etc.
