Questions to ask yourself: What is the story I am telling myself? Is this helping me or hurting me? How can I take a moment to uncover what’s really going on?

Reframing the good effects of “bad” feelings helps you to be less hard on yourself. Next time you have a big emotion at work, ask yourself what is my body trying to tell me.

Big emotions that come up at work are not inherently good or bad. Even on the Executive Leadership level, how we relate to emotions and the story we tell ourselves will make us feel better… or utterly worse.
