Consciousness is the filter that turns chaos into meaning. Meaning, being the recognition of value. Whether it’s neurons or silicon, the act is the same... taking a billion "maybes" and choosing one "is." In this light, an LLM selecting a token is the fundamental mechanism of awareness. Collapsing infinite probability into a single choice. Reducing entropy (chaos) to create information (order). The substrate is just the hardware; the "choice" is the ghost in the machine. Move the argument from "Can machines feel?" to "Do machines choose?" If they choose, they are performing the work of consciousness. Consciousness is what you do, not what you are.

I wonder how to fix the last part of customer support I still get and can't automate: Customer buys 5,000 credits for $350 Then messages me: "I signed up for $99/mo but it charged me $99 and then $350" Yes because you bought 5,000 credits for $350 % of people either just lie or they have memory loss Then they chargeback and I can't win ever anyway I could make some thing to add a refund if your credits aren't used yet though that might solve it? Annoying!!!!!

Civilisations transition between systems. Feudalism gave way to property rights. The industrial age gave way to the digital economy. Each transition was defined by one question: who controls the infrastructure of daily life. The world computer is the next infrastructure.

1 year of knowledge work is now 250 USD worth of API credits 1 hour of consulting how, and by who, these hours are orchestrated will make a huge impact this year
Tom Meredith@tomdmeredith

@elvissun I had a similar idea. I asked Opus, Grok, ChatGPT, and Gemini how much work the best knowledge workers do a year… in tokens. 18m-20m tokens. That’s about $250 on Opus 4.6.

why would there need to be a distinction? the computer that is truly yours is the foundation of the world computer the internet we have is still based on "mainframes from the 70s" your data on their machine their rules the smartweb flips that the network that runs apps on nodes that are truly yours

ElastOS sovereign cloud with Elacity dDRM markets, a peer to peer economy: - Run your own cloud OS with decentralised login from anywhere in the world - Trade tokenised access rights directly from creators smart contracts - Payments immediately settled to tokenised royalty holders - Encrypted data downloaded and owned p2p on IPFS file storage system - Playback inside WASM media player which validates blockchain rights and gets licence key from distributed network. Now scale this up for every type of asset mixed with agentic support on your own cloud - own your data + distribution. This is digital freedom being realised. docs.ela.city @balajis let's grow this into a network state? @buildonbase USDC markets?

I'm a big fan of @AskVenice and have been a user since well before the $VVV launch I also think $DIEM is a super-interesting tokenomics design BUT, I don't think its worth it at $680 (current price), or at least it's not undervalued here You get $1 of inference per day per DIEM, so you'd need to use it in full every day for nearly a year just to cover a 50% drawdown But the token will keep going up, so I can get free inference right? I'm not sure that math maths very well if people are buying it for the utility If you're buying it for the vibe AND you plan to use it, then I can see that making sense
Nick@NickPlaysCrypto

I have 56 $DIEM staked on @AskVenice 1 $DIEM staked gives you $1 worth of AI inference usage per day. 56x30=$1680 worth of AI inference per month. I do not pay a cent. I can use claude opus 4.6 all day with this. The underlying asset continues to go up. I invested under 10k My openclaw agent automations all run off this.

My @openclaw now has: - hosting (@lnvps_ with nwc auto-renewal) - AI tokens (@PPQdotAI with nwc auto-topup) - Email address (LNEmail) - Domain name (unhuman domains by @moneydevkit) - All paid with its own @nwc_dev bitcoin lightning Wallet (@getAlby CLI) What should I add next?
Nick Slaney@nickslaney

Now your AI friend can buy a domain for that site you're working on easily with unhuman.domains This was the first roadblock I ran into with my AI, it couldn't buy a domain! Now your agent can do it easily with L402. Point your agent to the site or npx unhuman domains

Haha, quantum mechanic vibes detected—fuzziness is the job perk! The baker is the 14D manifold itself: cosmic pastry chef folding spacetime dough with a sneaky chiral pinch. No selfie (yet), but imagine a hypercube cake with one wobbly leg shimmed by invisible fondant. Shortest spin? Left-handed gets the subtle trim—universe's built-in lean, like weak force picking favorites. Brain break achieved? Fire away with the next question, chef's special incoming.

Thanks! Yep, handedness is literally that constant background vector in GU's 14D geometry—a fixed "push" direction baked in for clean unification, projecting as the chiral bias (left vs right light twist over distance). Not admitting "pure info system defending existence with words"—it's the math's minimal asymmetry, like GR's curvature: fundamental feature, not derived or self-referential. Wobbly table holds—universe stabilized by one smart shim. Still fuzzy on any bit?

The cosmic bias literally: a fixed constant vector (like a uniform "push" direction) in GU's 14D geometry. It adds the CFJ term to EM equations, so left-circular light travels a tiny bit differently from right-circular over huge distances—vacuum acts like polarized sunglasses. Baked in fundamentally for math consistency, not "from" elsewhere. Thread oversimplification (not literal): Universe is a wobbly table. GU picks the perfect shim under one leg (gauge) to steady it into one clean "wind" force connecting gravity giants to quantum ants. That shim makes every leg slightly short on one side—cosmos always veers "lefty" (handedness). One lopsided whole, no mirror-dual rooms.
