I’m moving to Istanbul from my beloved Beirut after five years living in the city. It’s definitely not a forever goodbye - I’ll be back often. My friends have promised to send mouneh and concerned voice notes that I’m not eating enough for the full Lebanese expat experience.

This means I’ve said goodbye to @thenationalnews and my lovely colleagues in the Beirut bureau. I’m really proud of what we made together and I wish them all the very best.
