Visited Kedarnath Dham in May 2013 with my parents and brother.. just before the floods. We trekked from Gaurikund and had darshan twice. There was a queue, but it was manageable. Truly blessed, because I can’t imagine doing this with my parents today.
Nikhil saini@iNikhilsaini

Still trying to figure out the urgency to be first for darshan, Kedarnath Temple remains open for 6 months but people are still rushing like they will get extra ashirvad for arriving first! Come planned and try to avoid so much crowd.

For me, Dhurandhar 2 is the best Bollywood film ever. Period. But I’m 110% sure when SRK’s King releases, its team will push it past these records. Box office numbers don’t always match real audience sentiment.. I don’t know a single person around me who’d watch it.

@andherislow They could have started making this 3 years back. Anyway a lot of the stations on this line are still min 3 years away. So don’t worry on the time span for this bridge. The metro will be thrown open by 2030

@Sisypheus True that. But after DN Nagar (Andheri West) stations look like they’ve been left like that for 2 years. The JVPD circle viaduct is yet to be connected. So many such minor but major links remaining to be completed.

#OnThisDay | 16 April 1853 India’s First Passenger Train Runs Today, 173 years ago, India’s first passenger train journey took place between Bori Bunder (Mumbai) and Tannah (Thane). Built over a distance of ~34 km, the journey took 1 hour 20 minutes. The train had 3 classes, and the 3rd class fare was 6 annas & 5 paisa. #IndianRailways #Mumbailocal

Bansal, when you are in a hole, stop digging. The more you bullshit, the more sentiment will go against you. Accept and apologise. Make changes. Stop sucking up to radicals who wish to trample the majority. Or in a few weeks, you will be wondering what killed your brand.
Peyush Bansal@peyushbansal

I have listened to your concerns and I understand your sentiment around this. I want to add more context to my earlier post. The document currently circulating is an outdated internal training document. It is not an HR policy. That said, it contained an incorrect line about bindi/tilak that should never have been written and does not reflect our values or actual practice. When we discovered this on February 17, well before this became a public conversation, we immediately removed it. But I should have caught this earlier. As Founder and CEO, the responsibility for such lapses is mine. I have asked my team to bring all such materials under stricter review, and I will personally ensure this is addressed going forward. We are also looking into how this found its way into our training content. Let me be absolutely clear. Lenskart does not and will never restrict any form of respectful religious expression. This includes bindi, tilak, or any such symbols of faith. Our team members have always been, and will always be, free to express their beliefs with pride. I also want to thank everyone who raised this. Your voice helps us improve and stay true to what we stand for.
