@tomwatson Don't see a difference, but I'm aware we have divergent perspectives. I'll simply say that there's no demonstrable connection between primary votes and general election votes, and that attempts to enforce unanimity and punish dissent have consistently backfired on Democrats

@tomwatson I don't know if I would make the same choice or not, but to cast a symbolic protest vote in a meaningless primary election as "a truly awful thing to do" is a pretty big stretch
