Walking through Kadena SpireKey with @Randynamic_4 using the a pizza delivery dApp to show how we envision making the blockchain accessible to anyone!

Last week, our team had the pleasure of attending the DevWorld conference. It was a great opportunity to receive feedback on our new product, @Kadena_io SpireKey. During the conference, we demonstrated how easy it is to identify yourself and how smoothly and quickly operations can be performed on the blockchain. Being pioneers in new technologies is always challenging, but we performed exceptionally well, showing that blockchain could be accessible to everyone! We engaged in discussions with many attendees regarding security, the WebAuthn protocol used at the core of #SpireKey, decentralization, and blockchain in general. Understanding the functionality of the #WebAuthn protocol proved challenging at times. Essentially, it leverages the same chip used by your device for other native applications when verifying credentials. This means that in the case of biometric approvals, no data is stored on servers, clouds, or chains. Instead, it prompts a swift response from the device’s secure chip to confirm your identity, a process now possible in browsers as well. Despite concerns about the potential loss of the key or device theft, there are multi-factor authentication solutions and various other techniques in place to address these issues. Additionally, it was a pleasure to get together with our decentralized Developer Experience remote team in one location! Each of us possesses a unique skill set, and exchanging ideas and experiences in person was enriching. We reunited with old friends and established new contacts.
