Yes you could conclude that, however, that isn't what happened. Many of the Jews and Christians in the region became Muslims. We also don't know what the "what we have revealed" specifically was. The context was stories about Noah and Moses which any Bible reader would confirm were true and that would be shocking to someone who has never read these stories yet they are being "revealed" to him. The overall point is that the "Islamic dilemma" relies on a falsehood. A purposeful misinterpretation of the Quran. Neither the Torah or Gospel are used for verification. The readers were. They're dead now. The dilemma is a fabrication

Let me give you an analogy: I don't trust the pharmaceutical industry. I'm against modern medicine. I believe they lie to you and hide information that would help you. I am a naturopath. I believe that we can use the earth to heal ourselves and that is superior to modern medicine. Now imagine I diagnosed you with heart disease by just looking at you. Something your doctor missed due to negligence. But I tell you to "go check with your doctors if you think I'm lying". You go to get your heart checked, and they run all these tests and confirm it. Would that not make you believe in "what I revealed to you"? Being as though I did it WITHOUT a PHD, reading their "books", going through their studies, etc. This confirmation would not make them superior to me, in fact the other way around. You'd likely just trust me from here on out. Now I can go about showing you how and where they've been wrong all along because I have your trust. That would be my way to get your attention.

Are you just assuming islam is true and then trying to answer the dilemma? 😂 And yes it does give the bible some kind of authority by extension of giving it to its readers, why ask them otherwise?

It's God we're talking about. If he wanted him to go read, he'd go read. He said what He said. It doesn't give the Bible any authority. It doesn't even say refer to the Bible. The least you could say is it gives readers of the Bible authority, because that's who He said to ask. And there's NO WAY you could believe the writer of the Quran (Allah) believed that people who read earlier scriptures are superior to Him and His messenger. No way

It makes sense that it says to go ask people. And the question is an empirical claim and it atleast give the bible some authority over it

@mohammed_hijab I made almost this exact point verbatim in @GodLogic_GL post. It never said to check the Bible. It said to check the people who used to read it. Nor does it say to check the Quran against it. It says "that which We have revealed to you". The entire "Islamic Dilemma" falls apart.

@mohammed_hijab Very bad response, first the advice was given to Mohammed and he can not read and write so of course the advice will not be go read old books, second even if he never had doubts does not matter, he is asking an imperical question: Does my revelation allien with yours? No.
