I’m really disappointed with the news and the rumors around The First Berserker: Khazan and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. We’ve had plenty of bad soulslikes over the years, but these two were not part of that. The devs cooked, delivered, and deserved real support from their executives. I bought both on day one and I don’t regret it at all. What hurts is knowing we’ll probably never see new content or sequels. Khazan’s team already moved on to live service work, and Wuchang is stuck in rumors that don’t sound great. Nothing confirmed, but the vibe is not good. Sad news for a brave soul😢 Korean Single-player games have been killing it lately, garnering a lot of praise. But for @PlayKhazan, this attempt crashed and burned. Today, the team at Neople/Nexon that worked on the game has been dissolved due to the game failing to meet market expectations The game was Neople’s first attempt at a non–live-service title, and it failed, undeservedly!! A game with an unique art direction, the best combat and boss fights of any SP K-game (so far) or even souls-likes! Above all, thank you Khazan team for delivering a good damn game ✨💟

Game journalists are still complaining that Crimson Desert is too hard, and it needs a "difficulty slider". The game is designed to be played as is, and it's up to the player to adjust the difficulty of the game with the use of consumables, resurrection items, and upgrades. Don't have great reflexes? Then farm up a ton of consumables and spam them during the fight to make it easier, and upgrade weapons and gear. Too many people are used to games with so many difficulty settings where it's just a faceroll at the lowest difficulty, also known as "journalist mode", which allows journalists to beat the game. In the 90's, and many games of the 2000's did not have difficulty sliders, and were designed to be experienced as is.
