Now online in @FrontiersIn! We describe the physiological profile of the current marathon world champion in the 80+ age category (3:39). The highest VO2max reported at this age (52.8 ml/kg/min), and an amazingly preserved muscle oxidative capacity! Thanks to all coauthors!
