@MbalulaFikile Let us emphasise "WAS". All it represents now is a "has-been" organisation promoting racism and theft. No moral backbone... No putting South Africa first... Still calling each other Cdr
English

The African National Congress was not merely an organisation. It was a moral force, a disciplined liberation movement that carried the hopes of millions. It is this legacy that we must reflect upon today, not only with pride, but with honesty. People joined the movement not for material gain, but because they associated themselves with its historic mission to liberate all our people from colonial and apartheid bondage.
As we honour his life, we must also reflect on the state of our movement and our country. The African National Congress, the very organisation for which Mahlangu gave his life, faces profound challenges.

[WATCH] Solomon Mahlangu at the tender age of 22 was a combatant of Umkhonto WeSizwe. MK was the military wing of the African National Congress tasked with training soldiers to wage an armed struggle for a free and democratic South Africa. Today we commemorate and remember our struggle icon.

@MbalulaFikile Your aspirations and role models are fairly low! And yet you cannot reach their levels... honouring the useless...

[IN PICTURES] Today we honor the life and legacy of Solomon Mahlangu, a fearless freedom fighter whose courage continues to inspire generations.
The ANC and the Alliance are gathered at his final resting place today in solemn remembrance through a wreath-laying ceremony, reflecting on his unwavering commitment to justice and liberation.
His sacrifice was not in vain. His spirit lives on in the ongoing struggle for equality and dignity for all.

"Make me President of South Africa tomorrow, I then fight for the scrapping of the BEE nonsense and get Elon Musk and other global billionaires to invest in South Africa.
By end of my first term, there'll be at least two Tesla manufacturing plants in South Africa."

@mybroadband Got to be totally incompetent to fail a company that prints money.
Get rid of token managers and appoint real leaders...
What an embarrassment!

I didn’t mind if you were gay. Until you paraded in the streets in chaps and with dildos in front of families.
I didn’t care if you were trans. Until you wanted access to my kids in school and wanted them to question their own sexuality and gender.
I didn’t care if you were black or white or brown. Until you wanted to pull down statues, destroy our history, re-write our novels and pay you reparations.
I didn’t care if you wanted to cross borders. Until you decided to do so illegally and then started criminal enterprises in the country you entered or lived off the welfare system.
I even didn’t mind if you wanted an abortion, until you started celebrating them and calling the fœtus a “clump of cells”.
I am not the only one. There are millions of people just like me. And we are angry now and will fight back.
The line must be drawn here.

@markmywords @GovernmentZA All due to our "1st world" employment laws. Who would want to employ someone in South Africa unless you really really need to...
Change the laws and employment will grow.

When we say we stood on the shoulders of giants, we speak of uMama. A giant who shook and struck fear at the heart of the apartheid regime. Mama Nomzama was a militant, a gallant fighter but also a gentle mother of the nation and the one who kept the light shining during the darkest days of apartheid. As young boys, when we were terrorised by the regime, we knew where we would seek refuge.
Continue resting in Peace Mama.

@SawyerMerritt @SpaceX I think the quality of the footage was worse than in the 60's, except for the resolution of the video. Terrible, terrible... someone should be fired @NASA
English

NASA’s Artemis II livestream really makes you appreciate @SpaceX’s launch broadcasts.
Bad camera tracking, no onboard cameras, countdown timer disappeared, NASA even showed people in the crowd instead of stage separation lol. The screen also blacked out twice during the first 10 seconds of the launch.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 An American pilot with 25 years of experience, a veteran of three wars and hundreds of combat sorties, spoke about Israeli military pilots. He published a post that quickly went viral:
“I’ve flown over Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. I thought I had seen everything.
But when I saw what the Israeli Air Force is doing in Iran, I realized I’m still a student.
Precision. Logistics.
200 aircraft in one night.
500 targets.
1,500 kilometers.
No aerial refueling from American bases.
All the fuel from home.
All the weapons from home.
It’s like flying from Miami to New York, bombing targets along the way, and returning—
while 200 aircraft move simultaneously without a single collision.
To the Israeli pilots:
You are not just the best in the Middle East.
You are the best in the world.
And that’s the final word.”
