HCR 2060 will cost state and local government hundreds of millions of dollars every year to enforce. And that is before you even consider the job-killing impact to the economy and potential of billions lost in economic activity and tax revenue.

JCRC opposes HCR 2060 as a misguided, politically-charged state measure to manage a federal issue to enforce immigration laws.
Furthermore, it echoes past xenophobic laws that hurt our state.

UPDATE: Campus officials along with Police Officers have just made an announcement to the protestors in the encampment instructing them to leave.
The official says they are trespassing and non-compliance could result in suspension, expulsion or arrests.
