Words cannot express how insane this is. Gavins office initially estimated the deficit to be around 58 billion in January. The Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO) recently updated that figure to 73 billion. Now, it's estimated to be 222 billion, and it's not even April. That's nearly an entire year of California's fiscal budget. End the High Speed Rail. Defund the homeless industrial complex NGO's. Defund all "Sanctuary State" policies. This is madness. CUT THE FAT!!! It's not hyperbole to say Gavin is destroying this once prosperous and beautiful state. We are broke, and we have the highest tax rated in the country. Wake up California. You're voting for our destruction. WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING?

@harding_nathan @JRobFromMN I set the minimum wage for my job, and I don't delegate that power to any government entity.

@JRobFromMN Why is the state and cities setting minimum wages for particular jobs? Fine if they want to set an absolute minimum but setting one for particular jobs is not within their scope.

I think this is insane and will have horrible outcomes. However, I think that this is exactly how our Republic should work. If CA wants to have $20 Min Wage, Great. If other states want to have lower Min Wages, Great. Not everything needs to be addressed at a federal level.

I just got to Kaiser in Scotts Valley and every single person is wearing a mask. The lady at the desk said to me “They are requesting everyone wears a mask.” I told her no, and she said “no problem, head upstairs.” Why does everyone just comply? It’s 2024 Sheeple!
