These are the Twitter/X accounts with the most engagement so far in 2026. I suppose I had some intuition for how bad it was, but jeez, this is what you get when the ecosystem is broken.

The Blues with another brutal loss. They have gone 46 days without a road win. 10 consecutive road losses. This is weird time in St. Louis professional sports with the Blues, Cardinals and City SC. All in a rebuild or about to be.

I kid a lot but real talk here: I grew up in Toledo, OH & the end of my street was the Michigan line. Cincinnati is 3 hours south on the Kentucky border. There were like 0 Cincy fans in Toledo & the local media never even mentioned them. No-one in Toledo would care if the Bengals or Reds moved their stadium to Kentucky. Being in the same state doesn’t matter when you’re 3+ hours & hundreds of miles away. Way more Toledoans are Detroit sports fans or Michigan fans due to proximity.

@DTLB58 @JoePompliano Guess we’ll see. But to pay $1.8B in bonds you aren’t doing that with $60-100 parking. That’s before cost overruns.

@andrew_starr_ @JoePompliano Why do you think that? Clark said yesterday in an interview immediately after the press conference our fans said in a survey the things most important to them was 1. Tailgating 2. Loud. So when me meet with the architect that’s what we will be focusing on.

After reading through the 33-page term sheet for the Chiefs' new stadium in Kansas, I think it's one of the most lopsided stadium deals in NFL history. Kansas is essentially giving the Chiefs $3 billion (stadium funding + mixed-use development funding + tax incentives), yet getting virtually nothing in return. The Chiefs get to keep 100% of the revenue from all stadium activities, including ticket sales, concessions, sponsorships, naming rights deals, personal seat licenses, and more. That applies to NFL games and all other events (concerts, basketball games, etc.). Kansas will own the stadium, with the Chiefs paying $7 million in rent annually. But that money doesn't go back to the state; it goes into an account the Chiefs can use for renovations, repairs, and operational expenses. That means the Chiefs can use their own rent money to hire stadium security, parking staff, and concession vendors throughout the season. I know Kansas had to offer a great deal to get the Chiefs to leave Arrowhead, but this is worse than I expected. Here's a full breakdown of everything I found in the term sheet: huddleup.substack.com/p/the-kansas-c…

@andrew_starr_ @JoePompliano 1) any restaurant I’ve been to around a stadium or arena doesn’t sell $18 beers. 2) if the location of the new stadium is true, it’ll be very close to the speedway, so I’d assume they’ll work out a deal with the track to have tailgating at those lots.

I love #STL. But frustrated when I've travel on business and get these actual reactions from colleagues across the country: 1. Your airport is the worst (we're fixing that, I believe) 2. Isn't crime bad there? 3. I've heard Chesterfield is nice 4. Downtown is post-apocalyptic

To all the good chins of St. Louis Missouri. To those drinking their sorrows away in Kirkwood. For the people funneling whiskey neat with a side car bud heavy in South County. To the old money in Ladue and Clayton drinking a proper bottle of grapes shoutout Opus One.. Please talk to me. What the fak is going on with the #stlblues. Is it a consistent piss poor effort? Is it a personnel problem? It’s not a character problem I know that. Talk to me .. -93 93 93 93 93.1..
