@MelissaRTodd I did a few Edinburgh shows when I was younger. The year one of them was a massive hit I made a sum total of £300 profit off a £20k budget. It can be fun etc but “avoiding a life changing loss” is essentially the financial target.

The Edinburgh free Fringe have offered me a venue for my show. Which is utterly love of them but I bottled it weeks ago and paid for a venue. They do terrific work though. Edinburgh is so insanely expensive. Even if I sell out every night I'll make a massive loss.
