Sometimes I reflect on the habits that have taken root in our nation; where wrongdoing has become common across public offices, schools, private institutions, and even places of worship. It is deeply concerning that some individuals entrusted with responsibility misuse their authority to oppress and victimize others.
Many forget that positions are temporary. One day, they will leave those offices, and the very people they mistreated may be the ones they need tomorrow.
We must serve this country with the understanding that we are here today, but not forever. Instead of misusing public resources, we should invest in building a better future for our children and the generations to come.
The nations we admire have built their strength on discipline, integrity, and accountability. Why not emulate those same values?
God helps those who help themselves; let us choose to build, not destroy.
