What a joker this guy is hahaha. Gudas punched Hagel (fastest goal in stadium series history) right in the head. Doughty just blasted Pasta with a normal hit. They also had 6 guys on the ice when they scored the go ahead goal so they were the team playing with 6 guys actually. Video backs it all up.
Rono@RonoAnalyst

🇨🇿 Head coach Radim Rulík was very, very unhappy with the referees after the game against 🇨🇦. “The referees really worry me. What they’re allowing against us is unacceptable. After every game, we send them two or three clips where they confirm that the opponent should have been penalized. I don’t understand it. I just don’t get it. I feel like everyone is afraid to call anything against Canada. We were basically playing against six players. I don’t want to make excuses, and no one has to agree with me, but the video backs me up. In this respect, it’s not a fair tournament. It was happening to us even against Denmark. The mix of NHL and European referees hasn’t worked — everyone calls the game differently. I watch two NHL games on replay every single day. The play Nečas made today — when his stick was touched on the breakaway — is always a penalty in the NHL. But suddenly, not here. I’m really sorry about it. The guys deserved a top-level performance from the referees. They always admit afterward that we were right, but nothing ever changes. We should have had power plays against Canada. But they were afraid Pasta or Nečas would score another power-play goal. And if Gudas was penalized, then Doughty should have been too for the hit on Pasta.”

@PRPS_Chief @Peel_Paramedics @OPSEU277 @regionofpeel No offense but why would anyone apply to a service that is about to be dismantled by a board that has no idea the harm they are about to inflict? What assurances can you provide to interested candidates they will have a service to work for in a year?

@PoleseMatt @WhitbyFire This isn't a core duty that needs to be completed in a time sensitive manner clearly. They could pick away at it between calls. They would be mobile in the community doing this and be re-routed to calls as needed. The call volume isn't there to justify not doing this work.

@andrewmoore42 @WhitbyFire City crews would be best. During and after major snow accumulation events, fire departments are usually swamped with motor vehicle collisions, fire alarms, transformer pole fires, wires down and other misc calls. Being tired while doing extreme dangerous work is not recommended.

WFES responded to a residential alarm and found a buried hydrant. Luckily it was a false alarm, if this was a confirmed fire, crews would have been delayed in finding the hydrant, trying to dig it out and hooking up. Make sure your hydrants are accessible and not covered in snow!

@WhitbyFire Why doesn’t the municipality have 1. a high visibility stake pole on top of it for easy locating & 2. have designated city crews remove the snow around them?

@PierrePoilievre I'm not tied to any party but how do you explain kicking someone out of your rally today? How is that not dividing us? Politicians continue to disappoint. We need more people voting, not less.

I can confirm via the Coyotes that Anaheim forward Trevor Zegras did not say anything about Troy Stecher’s father during their dust-up last night but, per a team source, he crossed the line with “some very inappropriate comments.” Stecher has declined comment on the topic.

@Edwards79171041 @EMSPAC1 2/2 score high obviously as you have mentioned. Paramedics being fairly compensated does nothing to minimize the work Police and FF's do. Our work is very different but very connected. We can all be fairly compensated. It works elsewhere, you just have to look around!

Did you know that it takes a MIN of two YEARS of training to become a certified paramedic in NYC? It takes 18 weeks to be a #FDNY firefighter & 17 weeks to be an #NYPD officer. If you believe #EMS should have pay parity with their first responder colleagues SHARE THIS TWEET!

@Edwards79171041 @EMSPAC1 1/2 I don't think this is minimizing. Education length and quality is 100% part of job evaluation when determining compensation. Paramedics are at or just above Police and Fire compensation where I work. Other factors in deciding compensation do include risk, FF and Police...
