Today in housing affordability news from Albany: The Senate one-house budget would authorize a tax on home sales in Albany and Buffalo. Budget bills from both houses would increase an existing tax on home sales in New York City

🚨BREAKING 🚨 Active shooter at Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

BREAKING 🔴 Reports of an attack at a Jewish synagogue in Norway, police have arrived at the scene.

Rabbi Jen Lader at Temple Israel told me her account of what happened: "Attacker plowed through with his car got out with semiautomatic weapons and was very prepared with smoke bonds and fireworks and all sorts of stuff.


It’s not just Iran. It’s Lebanon. In less than 2 weeks, Israel has killed 570 people and displaced 750,000 — over 10% of the entire country. Residential buildings are being bombed with no warning. The U.S. cannot continue to be complicit in Netanyahu’s wars.



Strange thing is the Fair Housing groups haven't activated yet If Congress directly banned single family renters, civil rights & Fair Housing groups would be on the warpath But it takes a minute to realize that mandating 100% owner-occupied homes = mandating 0% renter homes
