@casualclubguy Nothing against a brand new clubhouse with marble countertops everywhere, but there's something about metal spike marks in 100 year old wood and 8 layers of paint on the original beams that you can't replicate in new construction.

@MidwestGolfJake Wife isn't a golfer, but we just did brunch followed by 5 holes with the whole family. She just wanted to be outside on a beautiful day with all of us together. (Played a 4 ball, alt shot, 8-some. 1 adult + 1 kid teams)

@BendelowGreens Was in NYC a few weeks ago. Weird realization that NYC and very rural midwest have similar timing logistics to get anywhere (traffic in NYC/distance in rural). Give me mid-sized midwest every day with home, office, golf course(s), and shopping all within 10 minutes.
