Farage's tax-free, overtime policy sounds like a gimmick to me. It will mean that someone on £40,000, who works overtime to make £55,000, will pay less tax than someone on £55,000 basic, without overtime. This policy doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

@andrewslinn @johnbestwest Nope. There are no hours stated in my contract. I am not “clocked in/out” so when I work over 40 hours/week, which I do regularly, there is no easy way of proving it. Lots of people will be in the same boat. And those that do have hours stated, this policy introduces a loophole.

The proposed Corbyn-Sultana new left party galvanised so much support and hope. And it is clearly a bit of a shitshow. Given the country is veering towards fascism, this is unforgivable. If it's not resolved soon, people will switch off and just bet everything on the Greens.
