Hi, I was one of the four people. Of course we all wanted the show to look as polished as possible. There just wasn't enough time or manpower. Best I could do is add some lighting/shadow work to 1-2 sequences per episode since they're 40-55 minutes. We did our best 🫰

@GentilMerl64374 @akachi_is I'd almost say Pepe is more like Jorge. They both have this incredible exaggeration and anime look to their work. Dan Mora is very much a clean cut look (and an impressive one at that)

Marvel has their own Dan mora but they don’t overwork him so he’s underrated

@breadluci Once you find that thing ;make art around it. Get Passionate about it. Get curious. I love mythology so I'm doing a character design project around Pandoras box. It's genuinely rocketing my work because I'm so interested in it so I'm drawing a lot around it.

@breadluci The other advice that confused me for a long time was "live a life you enjoy." It annoyed me because it didn't talk about skill building. But the thing that I've realized is that it's all about the stories you wanna tell. So ask yourself what do you find cool or interesting?

I wish big artists actually gave useful advices instead of saying “just draw for yourself bro” over and over again😞 Like, why they never tell people that they should post almost everyday? Why don’t they tell people how to utilize trends and how to make your OCs presentable?

@QT0ri I think the idea of wasting ones time is becoming more and more prevalent. People don't want to dedicate time into something because they don't want to wait 10 years to still not be as good as they want to be. They want it now so they know it paid off. Which... Not how it works.

Because no one likes to hear the real advice that's so extremely unhelpful: "Just get lucky" I played the probability game and got lucky over the course of 15 years. A lot of new artists stop not because art is hard but because they didnt get lucky fast enough and quit.

@sylessae How do you feel about timing stuff? Or doing something in a timeframe? Sometimes rushing feels good or helpful other times just wayyyy to much pressure for me.

@sylessae I Love the idea. I think with all the different options out there for artists sketchbooks almost seem like their own niche/ style at this point. For me personally I'm consistently digital and happy with it. But I always get gitty to see a new empty sketchbook in the wild.

Hey artists, how do you feel about daily sketchbooks?

@jadel4w Ooohhh Dutch masters? Any specific names you can drop. I love finding new art? I know i keep going back to 90's and early 2000's anime. Beyblade OG, yugioh, digimon and Dragonball(z) The human designs in those shows are so extra!

@andrewwingart Not sure. My inspirations havnt changed much in 30 years. Anime and the Dutch masters. So I try marry the two.
