Sales are "stuck" at $70k/month
On one hand it's stable
But on the other hand there's no growth
My strategy *was*:
Building lots of apps to rank in organic results. Revenue grew because of the accumulative effect. But App Store has changed and that strategy feels risky.
To fix the "growth" issue:
I'm taking the time to build a product suited for marketing.
When I looked at my portfolio: apps targeting a single keyword don't translate to meta ads (who cares about a currency converter?)
The irony of building in the AI age is that my actual release schedule has *decreased*

@GergelyOrosz Onboarding speed reveals foundation quality. No excuses.
English

@GergelyOrosz I think you should add a disclaimer that this is a very hot, subjective take because this conjecture is not pragmatic enough to push as an axiom. The forces, context, and priorities vary across orgs. I also wouldn't shore up Meta for eng practices dictates given their culture.

@jmduke I still remember so many years ago when Github's git operations being down was such a rarity that it trended endlessly on twitter and made the news. Now it seems some aspects of its service degrades almost every week. Microsoft purchasing them wasn't such a good thing it'd seem.
English

Github down again, huh? The frequency of these issues have been increasing of late @github. Fix this @satyanadella.

Musk's comment is same energy as "Taking Tesla private. Funding secured.".

Holy shit he’s officially giving up on Mars. It’s always been a lie

@OIThirty10 @xoreniii My brother in Toronto and the whole GTA if you are not an APA, you'll be comfortable, are you dragging lifestyle with Drake?,
English

@peaches80882 @xoreniii You as well as you have no idea what you're talking about.

@xoreniii Okay, shall we do some math then? In ON, 120K is 6779 after tax. The average unfurnished 1 bed in the GTA is 2300. 4479 left. Tithe is 678. 3801 left. Utilities+internet+phone is 300. 3501 left. Groceries+monthly sundries is 1000. 2501 left. --(1)

@lx_amara Being a millionaire doesn't always mean you are out of touch. I will be one shortly and I am very aware of the reality on ground.
English

@xoreniii @Temi_lolu_ The person doesn’t appear to know anything about Canada. Both from the claim and the two cities grouped together.
English

@xoreniii They should just tell us they lack money management capacity. $120k not enough? They need a FIN101 class.
English

@CanadiansForGE @xoreniii Sad to say, she honestly is the one that's out of touch.
English

@xoreniii I live in Canada. In the GTA. I am fiscally prudent, and minimize spending where possible. No streaming services, no extra circular spending really other than one sport per season (I like to be active).
This person is not out of touch with reality. $120k is firmly middle class.
English

@xoreniii + save for mortgage + put cash aside for emergencies on 1662? That's 19,944 per year. Should this person never go on vacations or buy clothes they'd need? It is ironic that you say these people are out of touch with reality when your take does not consider the average experience.
English

@xoreniii Assuming you have a car to drive to work a VW Jetta is 529 on an 84 month plan. 1972 left. Okay Insurance with RBC is 310. 1662 left. I haven't added the cost of car maintenance yet or additional costs if you have a family so tell me. Can you pay off the car --(2).

@catalinmpit It's definitely not pre-pandemic times.

These graphs with Software Development jobs always start from 2020 or 2021.
During that period, everyone and their dog wanted to become a developer.
Software Development was presented as the easy ticket to a good life.
That bubble burst though and the jobs are at a normal level. Similar to pre-pandemic times.

English

@VRobsonUS @TicTocTick Me: Go inform yourself on the reality of the cost so you can see how 120K pre-tax doesn't work.
Vincent: No thanks I'd stick to my misconstrued talking points because I don't want facts that show I'm wrong.
English

@android_I_AM @TicTocTick I don't really need to. Median salary in Toronto is 66k, so you'll be earning twice as much as 50% of the population, if they make it work, you should too.
English

$120k in Canada is $80k USD.
At $120k, unless you live in ThunderBay, you are poor .
To live in comfort in Canadian city like Calgary and Vancouver, you need minimum 220K.
Mandy@nikkymandy_
Anybody earning $120k in Canada and struggling by the months has a financial discipline problem and is def living above their means. Let’s be honest! Toh.
English

@Debeeezy I'm pretty sure you saw my numerous tweets at you explaining why you are utterly wrong. You cherry picked the one that you could get a retort to because you had no salient rebuttal for the facts I dropped on you. Not the way, fam. Not the way.
