Between the lodged ball & the outlandish criticism of IKF’s lead at 3rd base I am reminded of just how silly it is to try & explain high level strategy & the purpose behind it to people who are essentially stepping into a PHD level course & telling the professor they’re wrong because “insert opinion with no experience or education to support shitty opinion”. I’ve watched current & retired players try to explain the rules & strategy of the games they play/ed & be told their wrong by “Steve in sales” who pitched & played SS on his men’s league team.

Telltale sign of a good defense is one where the first person to the ball makes tackles more often than not. If they don’t, the second person isn’t far behind. Can’t say I’ve seen much of that at all from the Vols the last two weeks.

Our offense plays faster on 1st quarter drives than we did on there. And now all of a sudden we’re out of time and sitting with two timeouts in our pocket. I don’t get it.

Great work by @DrOzCMS and @CMSGov to begin cracking down on overbilling by Medicare Advantage plans. The government is 7 years behind on its required audits of these plans, but will now catch up on all audits by the end of this year. These audits should result in billions of taxpayer dollars returned to the Treasury, as various reports estimate MA overbilling at between $17B and $43B per year.

You always trust a catcher to block up in those spots, otherwise you’d be pitching out of fear constantly. Not a way to operate on the bump

@androoly24 @wesrucker247 Do you think Frank was scared to throw an offspeed with all the wild pitches/passed balls we’ve seen recently and a runner in third? We have been poor at keeping balls in the dirt in front of us lately.

When you're 0-2 and you have a 102 mph fastball, you throw it chest-high and take your chances.
The kid has a thunderbolt attached to his shoulder. Can throw it harder than all but a few people in the sport's history. It's a gift. Use it.

@wesrucker247 0-2 and threw fastballs first two pitches. Can’t come back and throw another fastball and this one down the middle. It has to be high or off the plate or at least a corner
